Taking surface finishes to new heights
YG-1 has introduced the cermet turning grade YT100, marking the first-ever release of this product in the company's history. YT100 features new technology that sets a new standard for finish turning operations with excellent surface finish and wear resistance.
As a result of advances in substrate technology, and a special sintering process, wear resistance and chipping resistance have been enhanced. The flank wear resistance maintains dimensional tolerances over a longer run than previously possible.
YT100 covers a wide range of work materials such as Steel, Cast Iron, and Stainless Steel. The negative PSF finishing chip breaker and positive inserts with PF & PM chip breakers offer superior chip breaking with high surface finish
